2 Life Changing Windows Keyboard Shortcuts

by ryan on April 16, 2010

In this video I will describe 2 windows keyboard shortcuts that will save you a lot of pain and time.

Firstly the one keyboard shortcut that I use EVERY DAY is the Windows Key + D shortcut which minimizes your windows to the desktop. The other one I mention in the video is Windows Key + Tab which opens a display like Alt-tab but allows you to use your mouse to click. You can only use it when you have Windows 7 theme (Aero theme) activated. (To do that right click on desktop and go to Properties).

For you noobs out there, the windows key is the key that has the windows logo on it. Duh!

Also: You can also press Win key + M to minimize all windows, but pressing it again wont bring them back!

Why is this useful?
How many times do you download stuff to the desktop and then try to get to it by manually navigating there?
How many application links are on your desktop that you need to use to open software?

Try using this keyboard shortcut over time and see how useful it really is for you.
